The Road to Painting
Finding what we really want to do with our lives, isn’t always obvious to us at a young age. Despite the fact that I was always colouring and drawing at every opportunity as a child, I never thought of art as a career. Instead, I completed a Bachelor of Economics before moving to Germany where I once again began painting and drawing in my spare time. After 6 years, on returning to Australia, I was finally able to turn my attention fully to what I really love to do and I have now been painting for over 25 years. This website shows some of that journey.

Recent Works
Abstract landscapes have always been a love of mine. Focusing on colour, texture and light, my current paintings have been influenced by the works of Gerhard Richter while building on my own techniques. I will be uploading more works to this page shortly.
Portraits
Not your standard portraits, I like to do something a bit different.
Capturing the personality of an animal and creating an interesting work of art at the same time, is a challenge which I love to take on.
A portrait of a family member makes a wonderful keepsake for life.
Visit this page for some samples and if you’d like to commission a work of your loved one, please get in touch with me.
